Deep in Old Lady Thorne’s home lies Clan Thorne, a group of mice who enjoy two things; cheese and recreation. The mice’s lives are short, due in part to the cat that lives besides Old Lady Thorne, but they get by. One cheese crumb at a time.
Join Honcho, a less-than-confident mouse as he is forced into a scouting party by the bookish yet stubborn Wozniak in search for the fabled Redwheel Cheese. Joining them are Honcho’s friend, Weir, Aldous the gluttonous mouse, Wozniak’s brother Gerstmann and Honcho’s Sister’s Fiance, Defiance, who gives Honcho the much needed confidence to get over his fears.
Part One has it all, mice and more mice, even a cat or two. Who knows what’s in store for these elephant-eared freaks!
